After years of planning and study, Boston-based real estate firm Weiner Ventures said it's cancelling plans to build an air-rights tower above the Massachusetts Turnpike.
Weiner Ventures originally planned to develop two towers at 1000 Boylston St. — a 33-story condominium tower and a 17-story apartment tower atop a 35,000-square-foot, six- to seven-story retail podium.
