A new global consumer survey from iVend Retail sheds light on whether the reality of mobile shopping matches the hype.

According to results of “2019 Global Shopping Trends: Essential Insights for Retailers,” consumer usage of mobile devices to support shopping activities deserves the attention it has been getting. A large majority of shoppers are using smartphones to browse online for going into a store to make a purchase (93%) and research products in-store (86%).
