Dunkin’ defends franchise agreements in face of Healey probe

Dunkin’ Brands and seven other restaurant chains face an investigation by state attorneys general, including Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey, over limits they may place on workers switching from one franchisee to another.

Each of the companies that received a letter has a presence in Massachusetts. In addition to Dunkin’, the attorneys general sent letters to Panera Bread, Arby’s, Burger King, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Little Caesars, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and Wendy’s.. . . more
