Grocery retailers that offer ecommerce are poised to gain significant
market share in the home delivery of beer and wine to consumers,
according to a report from investment firm Rabobank.
While the online grocery channel currently accounts for only 5% of
online alcohol sales, “the channel’s relative irrelevance will not last
long,” Rabobank said in the report. “We firmly believe it will develop
