Lowe's expands smart-home concept to 70 U.S. stores
Cos. Inc.'s successful pilot of a smart-home product offering for
customers has led the home improvement retailer to
expand the concept into 70 U.S. stores.
Lowe's SmartSpot store platform is described as a
"store-within-a-store" that provides customers a chance to test a range
of home-automation products before making a purchase. It started out last fall as a pilot program in three California stores.
Now, in addition to seven North Carolina locations, it's available in
stores across New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas,
Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C., Miami and Tampa, Fla.. . . more
