Holiday gift predicted for Mass. retailers this season after last year’s lump of coal
The Retailers Association of
Massachusetts is predicting a 3.1 percent bump in holiday season retail
sales over last year, a welcome reversal after a loss in 2016.
prediction from the state’s industry group is based on its survey of
the 4,000 members of the statewide trade association. The projected
increase is not as high as the the National Retail Federation’s prediction of between 3.6 and 4 percent for the holiday season.. . . more
