Target Will Now Do Something Online That Walmart and Amazon Already Do

Like its rivals, Target is focusing in on making it easier for busy people to shop for merchandise.

The discount retailer announced a new pilot program on Monday called Target Restock. Starting this summer in its hometown of Minneapolis, the pilot will allow holders of Target's REDcard to buy household essentials online and have them shipped to their homes for a flat fee. The items are packaged at a nearby Target store. Orders placed before 1:30 p.m. are expected to be delivered by the next business day. . . . more
