Starbucks traffic falls as competition in mobile ordering rises
Starbucks foot traffic is slowing, according to the latest report from the research firm xAd Inc. The firm reported that Starbucks' share of the nation's quick-service restaurant foot traffic dropped to 11 percent in February, from 12 percent in January.
On the other hand Dunkin' Donuts, one of Starbucks' largest competitors, saw its share of total foot traffic increase between January and February, but xAd declined to say by how much. At the end of the fourth quarter, Dunkin' Donuts had 6 percent of the foot traffic analyzed by xAd.. . . more
