The Fresh Market announces closure of 13 locations across the U.S.

Specialty grocer The Fresh Market announced closure of 13 locations across the U.S., included a handful of stores in the Houston area. Stores will be closed on May 18. The grocer will close all of its store locations in Texas, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas. The company currently operates 175 stores in 23 states across the country. There are eight locations in the state of Texas in Dallas, Fort Worth, Southlake, and the Houston area. Stores will be closed on May 18, according to a release from the company's public relations department.
