The rise of fast fashion continues to hit mall-based retailers, especially as shopping malls seem less relevant. With news of yet another mall-based chain, teen-retailer Aeropostale, reportedly filing for bankruptcy, should these retailers be written off for good?
Ken Morris, partner at Boston Retail Partners, said not so fast. He said Apple is the perfect example of a company that has a lot of success at its retail locations. Apple Stores are still packed most of the time, and they're packed with young people.
